Homestead
About thirty minutes south of Miami is a city called Homestead that hosts over 24,000 people in its immediate area. Approximately 1/3 of these residents are between 25 and 44 years old, making this a young and prosperous area. Many industrial, manufacturing, distribution, and other businesses are developed within the local Park of Commerce, which sits on about 280 acres.
Residents and visitors who want excitement can visit the Homestead Motorsports Complex, which hosts racing events, including NASCAR, Grand Prix, Formula 1, and others. They also can watch baseball at the Sports Complex. This is one of the best Major League Spring Training facilities in the nation. Families can interact with nature at the Everglades National Park and camp out at the Flamingo Marina and Lodge.
